After a reported robbery on Carey Avenue on January 16, 2025, at around 12:31 AM, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania police have opened an investigation.
After being sent to the scene, officers spoke with a victim from Plains, Pennsylvania, who was 21 years old. When an armed suspect met the victim, the victim was allegedly bringing a meal order to an apartment complex.
The victim claimed that the defendant came out of the premises with a revolver drawn from his waistband. He insisted on the victim’s lunch order and any money they might have.
The victim clarified that a second suspect hit him with a clinched fist after he said he had no money. After accepting the meal order, the two suspects—who were both reportedly wearing ski masks—left the area. The incident is still under investigation.
