Man hospitalized after Forest Hills shooting, investigation underway

FOREST HILLS, PA — Allegheny County police are looking into a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Marion Avenue on Sunday night, leaving an adult male gravely injured.

At 6:43 p.m., the event was reported to County 9-1-1. When first responders got there, they discovered the victim had been shot. After being taken to a local hospital, his status is reported as stable but serious.

The inquiry has been turned over to the Homicide Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department, which is investigating the shooting’s circumstances.
