New Jersey’s Toms River. Detective Corporal Phil Sickinger, a 19-year veteran of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, died on Wednesday after a battle with ALS. The office is in sorrow.
Detective Corporal Sickinger was a member of the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and served with distinction in the Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his tenure, his commitment to public safety and his coworkers was clear, and those who worked with him respected and admired him.
