The city of PhiladelphiaA suspect in the January 12, 2025, armed robbery at a Cricket cell phone store in Germantown is being sought by police. In an attempt to identify the offender, the Northwest Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police Department released security footage of the event on Wednesday.
The robbery took place at 200 W. Chelten Avenue at around 12:26 p.m. The guy parked behind the store and arrived in a dark-colored Nissan SUV, according to the police. According to surveillance footage, the guy enters the store, pulls out a gun, robs the business, and then runs out the back door. After that, the guy got back in his car and was last observed traveling close to Pulaski and Coulter Streets.
Investigators think the same culprit may be behind both incidents. Police also disclosed that the same store had been the subject of another armed robbery on December 4, 2024.
