Armed robbery suspects flee Silver Spring Holiday Inn in Chevy sedan

Silver Springs, Maryland. Following a brutal armed robbery at the Holiday Inn on Georgia Avenue that left the desk clerk hurt and authorities looking for explanations, two suspects are currently at large.

Armed with a weapon, one of the suspects attacked the hotel clerk and then took money from the establishment on Wednesday night. The second person was a lookout at the time of the incident. Both were last seen driving toward Washington, D.C., in a black four-door Chevrolet sedan as they departed the scene.

The suspects have been described in detail by the police. Suspect 1 is described by police as a Black man in his late 30s to early 40s who is roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall and has a hefty build. He had on a black knit hat, black medical mask, blue micro-foam nitrile-coated gloves, black boots, and blue insulated coveralls. A black semi-automatic weapon was in his possession. The second suspect is described as a Black man who is around five feet ten inches tall, heavy-built, and in his late 30s to early 40s. He had on blue pants, gray New Balance sneakers, black gloves, a black hooded hoodie, and a big watch on his left wrist. In addition, he had on a black facemask and goggles.
