Washington, D.C.The Metropolitan Police Department reports that six suspects are being sought in connection with an armed robbery that occurred early Wednesday morning in the 2900 block of 2nd Street, Southeast.
A gang of people, including one armed suspect, allegedly carried out the robbery just after two in the morning before escaping in a silver Kia Forte with a damaged rear driver’s side window.
One suspect, according to the authorities, was a Black woman with a revolver and fur boots. The identities of the remaining five people, who are thought to be between the ages of 17 and 20, are unknown.
Anyone with information is being asked by investigators to call police at (202) 727-9099 or send anonymous tips to the department’s text tip line at 50411. For information that results in arrests and convictions, a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered.
Police are still looking for the suspects and the getaway car as part of their investigation into the armed robbery.
