Alleged Serial Groper Nabbed in Brooklyn After String of Assaults Near Prospect Park New York Police

Police have announced that the suspect known as the “Park Slope Prowler” has been apprehended after a series of late-night assaults on women near Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.

A 23-year-old man named William Nuesi has been arrested and is facing multiple charges. According to authorities, he is accused of sneaking up behind at least four women and inappropriately touching their buttocks in separate incidents that occurred between June 25 and August 14.

Nuesi reportedly escaped under the cover of darkness after each unsettling incident and remained at large until recently.

Last month, the NYPD raised concerns about a suspected individual who committed a series of attacks near Prospect Park after dark. The police released images of the suspect and alerted the public.

A resident living near the park, Nuesi, has been charged with four counts of forcible touching and four counts of second-degree harassment, according to the police.

The individual maintained his silence as he was escorted out of a police station in Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon and guided into a waiting police vehicle.

Authorities have reported that the ages of the four victims ranged from 32 to 41 years old.

A victim expressed to The Post last week that she has completely lost her sense of security and now feels fearful about walking alone after 7:30 p.m.
