The US National Weather Service Grand Junction reports that scattered showers could form in the afternoon and that winds could reach 45 mph at higher elevations. As colder weather moves in overnight, snow is predicted to spread throughout the region, causing unrest into the next week.

According to the extended forecast, Friday’s high will be 65 degrees Fahrenheit before the temperature drops, and there is a risk of rain and snow showers over the weekend.
