Albuquerque Weekend Outlook: Sunshine and Mild Temperatures, Rainy Pattern Midweek

Albuquerque, New MexicoAlbuquerque will see highs close to 70 degrees Fahrenheit this weekend before rain comes in midweek, so residents of New Mexico can anticipate a pleasant and dry weekend. There will be lots of sunlight during the next three days, but by Wednesday, a change in the weather patterns could bring storms.

The National Weather Service predicts a high of 70 degrees Fahrenheit on Friday, with largely sunny conditions, and a high of 71 degrees Fahrenheit on Saturday, with light afternoon winds. With partly clear sky, Sunday is still warm at 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Throughout the weekend, overnight lows will remain in the mid-30s.

Temperatures drop a little to 64 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday before Monday night brings more clouds. Tuesday is dry with a high of about 60 degrees Fahrenheit, but Wednesday has a 20% chance of precipitation, including rain and snow showers.

Rain might cause slick roads, so drivers should keep an eye on the situation during the middle of the week, especially along Interstate 40. Residents should get ready for a cooler, wetter pattern beginning Wednesday, even though the weekend offers perfect weather for outdoor activities.

Keep abreast of local forecasts and make plans appropriately in case of rain during the week.
