Arkansas Weekend Weather: Cold Mornings, Warming Trend Expected Through the Week

Little Rock Arkansas is expected to have a cold start to the weekend, but temperatures will gradually increase over the next few days. Lows will be in the mid-20s on Saturday morning, and wind chills will make it feel significantly colder. But by the afternoon, sunshine will help bring the temperature down into the low 40s.

The National Weather Service predicts that Sunday will be substantially warmer with sunny skies and highs in the mid-50s. The temperature will rise much further on Monday, reaching a high of about 65 degrees. With a remote chance of showers returning on Wednesday, the weather will remain mostly clear through the middle of the week.

Early on Saturday, drivers should be alert for potential ice areas, especially on bridges and overpasses. Residents should prepare for chilly mornings throughout the weekend, even though warmer weather is on the horizon.

By Tuesday, the extended forecast predicts highs in the upper 60s, with a modest drop by Thursday. Arkansas is in for a beautiful week with generally dry conditions predicted. Plan for the warming trend by keeping abreast of the most recent local weather advisories.
