Teen Driver From Indiana Wrecks Crashes Into Michigan Home, Passenger Injured

A young driver from Elkhart, Indiana, was involved in a collision with a house in Penn Township, Michigan, on Monday afternoon. The single-vehicle collision occurred close to Calvin Center Road and M-60.

According to Sheriff Clint Roach, the collision happened around 2:10 p.m. The driver abandoned the road after swerving to avoid another car. The vehicle then collided with a house before stopping.

A young traveler from Vandalia, Michigan, had injuries that were not life-threatening. For medical attention, EMS took the traveler to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital. There were no injuries to the driver. The collision did not injure anyone inside the house.

Penn Township Fire and SMCAS Ambulance provided on-scene assistance. The incident is still being looked at by authorities.
