Within a condominium building in lower Manhattan on Monday evening, a woman who was 57 years old was fatally shot in the face, resulting in her death.
Just after 11 o’clock at night, the body of the woman was discovered inside the corridor of the Eighth Floor of the Two Bridges building, which is located at 44 Market Street, according to the police.
In the aftermath of the fatal shooting, two suspects reportedly fled the building, as reported by the police.
As of early Tuesday morning, the two individuals were still at large.

While the New York Police Department worked to contact the victim’s family members, they chose not to reveal the victim’s identify.
Her murder took place in a building that is twelve stories tall and contains sixteen condominium units, each of which has a balcony and a view of the Manhattan Bridge.
On the ground floor of the building, there is also a preschool and commercial space available for purchase.
According to reports, the asking price for a home that is now available for purchase is $1.38 million. The unit features three balconies, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
