Trump Supports Elon Musk’s Tesla Amid Boycotts, Announces Plan to Buy a Brand New Model

President Trump declared that he will purchase a Tesla in order to assist Elon Musk’s “baby” at DOGE, following the electric car manufacturer’s stock decline and boycotts due to the billionaire CEO’s involvement with the White House.

As the CEO of Tesla has been slashing federal government employment and spending in his new role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, Trump hurried to Musk’s defense against the so-called “Radical Left Lunatics” who have organized rallies against the company across the United States.

“To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is ‘putting it on the line’ in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!”” Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Trump posted on Truth Social.

“But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s ‘baby,’ in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for.”

The president, who is also the CEO of SpaceX and the social media network X, declared that he would buy a Tesla in the morning “as a show of confidence” in Musk.

“In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American,” he stated “Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???”

What Tesla model Trump intends to purchase is unknown.

Following an initial surge, the share price of the electric car manufacturer has plummeted by over a third since Trump took office. Since January 1, Tesla’s stock has fallen by around 32% and more than 28% in the past month.

Last month, a 40-year-old woman allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at cars on the property and spray-painted “Nazi cars” on the building of a Tesla business in Colorado.

Additionally, Tesla owners have complained that anti-Musk vandalism has started to target their vehicles.

In an effort to deter possible vandals and/or disassociate themselves from the DOGE leader and his political views, several owners have swapped out the Tesla insignia on their vehicles for badges from other automakers.
