Upper East Side Stabbing One Man Dead, Another Seriously Injured in Ongoing Investigation

On Sunday afternoon, authorities discovered a guy dead after being stabbed around 232 East 95th Street, not far from Second Avenue on the Upper East Side.

The unidentified guy was unconscious and unresponsive when officers arrived at 1:30 p.m., and he was pronounced dead on the scene, according to officials. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

According to officials, a 27-year-old man found at the site was sent to New York Cornell Hospital in serious but stable condition, with lacerations all over his body.

Police claimed they found two knives at the site.

No arrests have been made, and the inquiry remains ongoing. There were no updates as of 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

Officials were unable to confirm whether the two persons knew each other.
