New Jersey’s Millville. The Millville Police Department and Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office are now looking into the June 14, 2025, shooting death of 20-year-old Roshaud Rhett on the 300 block of Maurice Street.
Bridgeton resident Trasuf J. Bennett, 19, is accused of murder, illegal pistol possession, and unlawful weapon possession. Bennett allegedly pulled up in a car and shot Rhett, who subsequently passed away at Vineland’s Inspira Medical Center, according to the prosecution.
Bennett is still at large and is regarded as dangerous and armed. Instead of approaching him, authorities advise the public to submit any information anonymously at CCPO.TIPS, or by calling Det. Torres at 609-675-5462 or Det. Caminos at 856-506-7114.
In relation to the crime, James L. Henry, 19, of Maurice Street, was also accused. His role’s specifics have not been made public.
