Jackson shelter dog Rayna overlooked again

Jackson, New Jersey.Rayna, a three-year-old dog that was turned in, is still waiting for her forever home, and shelter employees and volunteers at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility are requesting assistance.

Rayna, a well-mannered, leash-trained, and loving puppy, was surrendered by her former owner and brought to the shelter along with two other dogs. She is still unclaimed despite her disposition and adoption-ready status.

Rayna is microchipped, spayed, has a gray coat, and has received all of her vaccinations. The shelter claims that she passed all behavior evaluations and that she likes peaceful settings and walking trails. In a household with older children, she might thrive as an only pet.

Rayna feels better at ease being the only dog in a home and seems unsure around cats, even though she used to live with other dogs. If adopted into a family with other animals, a gradual introduction would be necessary.

Rayna can be adopted right away or given to any 501(c)(3) rescue organization that has been granted permission to do so. The Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, located at 615 Freemont Avenue in Jackson, is where she is kept. Every day from 1 to 4 p.m., the shelter is open.

During business hours, the shelter can be contacted for adoption questions or outreach to rescue groups.
