New York’s Bronx.According to police, two people opened fire in front of a house on Morris Avenue early Monday morning before escaping on foot.
The suspects repeatedly brandished and fired their firearms throughout the incident, which happened in front of 1434 Morris Avenue at approximately 3:15 a.m. There were no reported injuries despite the barrage of gunfire.
Both individuals fled north on Morris Avenue after the gunshot. One of the individuals involved was apprehended by officers who arrived at the site promptly. The second suspect has not been apprehended.
The name of the person who was arrested and the potential charges against them have not been made public by the authorities. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being looked into by the police.
It is still unknown whether the area was targeted or if the shots were fired randomly, and no firearms were found at the scene at the time of the complaint.
Police are still looking for a second suspect in the shooting on Morris Avenue.
