Maryland’s Leonardtown.The Tenth District Volunteer Fire Department said that two people were pulled from the water on Thursday after their boat capsized during a storm.
A rescue swimmer from Fireboat 8 arrived on the scene and helped the two people get back on the fireboat. After that, the two were taken to a nearby marina without incident.
Both people refused medical care following the rescue, the department said.
The incident happened in the midst of really bad weather. There were no reported injuries.
