SODUS, N.Y. According to the New York Lottery, a top-prize TAKE 5 ticket valued at $17,336 was sold in Sodus for the midday drawing on June 24.
The winning ticket was bought at 6114 Route 104, which is Speedy’s. During the lunchtime TAKE 5 event, it was the lone top-prize ticket drawn.
Numbers are chosen from a field of one to 39 for the TAKE 5 drawings, which are done twice a day at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. The winners can pick up their reward within a year of the drawing date.
As of Tuesday, the prize has not been claimed, and no details regarding the ticket holder have been made public. A sales bonus is available to the shop who sold the ticket.
Five-figure rewards from the TAKE 5 game are still given out every day around the state.
