Deadly double shooting hits Christian Street and Wilkens Avenue

Baltimore, Maryland. Two males were discovered shot and unconscious in Southwest Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, and a double homicide is being investigated.

Officers from the Southwest District responded to reports of shooting in the 2200 block of Christian Street at around 1:36 p.m. on June 22. Officers discovered a 31-year-old man with gunshot wounds when they arrived. Shortly after, a second victim, a male 24 year old, was found shot and unresponsive in the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue.

After being taken to local hospitals, both guys were declared dead.

The victims’ identities and any information about potential suspects have not been made public by the police.

In a double fatal shooting, homicide detectives ask for the public’s assistance.

The investigation is being led by the Homicide Unit of the Baltimore Police Department, which is encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
