Baltimore cops probe fatal shooting at fire-filled crash scene

Baltimore, Maryland. After being shot several times, a 41-year-old man was discovered dead next to a flaming car that had collided with the back of a house in the Southwest District of the city on Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 4100 block of Woodridge Road at around 3:11 p.m. on June 23 after receiving a report of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they saw a car that had collided with the back of a house and set fire. They found a man victim nearby who had been shot multiple times in the upper body.

Despite attempts to save his life, the man was declared dead after being taken to a nearby hospital by medical personnel.

Investigations are still ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the crash and the fire. The victim’s identification and details about potential suspects have not been made public by the authorities.
