Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.The Myrtle Beach Police Department warned that anybody found in violation of any fireworks restrictions over the upcoming Fourth of July weekend, including parents of minors, could be subject to fines, arrests, or even legal action.
Authorities urged citizens to report unlawful behavior and underlined that public safety is still their top priority. In a message published on Wednesday, the department said, “If you see something, say something.”
According to police, citywide enforcement measures will be implemented during the holiday season.
