Due to its strong association with a family member, the winner, who requested anonymity, frequently plays the number 33031. In contrast to his custom of purchasing a single ticket, he made the decision to purchase three distinct tickets with the same number on June 23.
He bought the tickets from Village Liquors, which is situated in Baltimore at 4220 Edmondson Avenue. The three tickets each took home a $50,000 top prize, for a total of $150,000. Selling the winning tickets will earn the store a $1,500 bonus.
The winner said it as a moment of astonishment and celebration when he learned of the triple win later that night while at home with family via the Lottery app.
