DC Double Homicide Probe Snares Another Alleged Killer

Washington, D.C. According to authorities on Thursday, a second suspect has been arrested in relation to a shooting in Southeast that claimed two lives and badly injured a third last month.

Officers discovered three individuals with gunshot wounds lying in the road after responding to a complaint of shooting in the 4200 block of 4th Street SE on May 23 at approximately 10:19 p.m. According to authorities, a 14-year-old boy was sent to a hospital with potentially fatal injuries, while a 16- and 19-year-old boy were declared dead at the site.

The fatalities were identified as Southeast D.C. residents Royell Walker, 16, and Jamar Jackson, 19.

Sean McFadden, 23, of Southeast, was taken into custody by police on Wednesday on a DC Superior Court warrant and accused of first-degree murder while armed.

A new fugitive task force arrest

Royale McGlenn Jr., 19, of Hyattsville, Maryland, was taken into custody by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force on Thursday. He was also charged with first-degree murder while armed in a DC Superior Court warrant.

The inquiry is being carried out by the Major Case Squad of the Metropolitan Police Department. Police ask anyone with information about this crime to text a tip to 50411 or phone (202) 727-9099 instead of acting.

The total prize in this case is $50,000, with a reward of up to $25,000 offered for information that results in the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators of each homicide.
