Lottery rule-breaker bags $100K in Maryland

Hagerstown, Maryland.A man from Washington County who often spends no more than $20 on scratch-offs chose to indulge and won $100,000 in the $5,000,000 Fortune game.

After deciding to break his self-imposed limit, the retired county employee bought two of the $50 tickets at Wooden Keg Liquors, which is situated at 20219 Jefferson Boulevard in Hagerstown. When he claimed the prize on June 16, he stated, “I usually spend no more than $20 on a scratch-off, but I decided to splurge.”

He claimed that he consistently purchases two tickets for the same match. He started scratching the second ticket at home after getting his money back from the first one, and he watched as the prizes piled up. I continued to find $5,000 matches. He stated there were a lot of them. The sum rose to $100,000.

“It was an emotional experience,” he added. His retirement worries were allayed by the victory, and there was still more to give.

$5,000,000 Fortune game still has top prizes unclaimed

The $50 $5,000,000 Fortune ticket went on sale in February. None of the three $5 million top prizes in the game have been claimed. Eight $50,000 third-tier prizes and six $100,000 second-tier prizes are still up for grabs.
