by NEW YORK The New York Police Department says that they are looking for a man who reportedly groped and abused a woman on an MTA bus in Manhattan earlier this month.
The event happened on an M101 bus on Thursday, June 5 at around 2:00 p.m. Police say an unidentified man approached a female passenger, age 33, from behind and touched her buttocks.
The man hit the woman in the head when she challenged him, then walked away. When Emergency Medical Services arrived, they attended to the woman’s minor injuries on the spot.
Release of the suspect description
According to the description, the suspect is a dark-skinned man who is between 28 and 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds, and has short black hair, a tiny black mustache, and a lean body. When he was last seen, he was carrying a black bookbag and dressed in black jeans, white shoes, and a white shirt.
The investigation is still underway, and the NYPD has not made any arrests.
The man who allegedly groped a lady on a Midtown bus and then assaulted her is still being sought by police.
