NYPD seeks suspects in series of Bronx motorcycle robberies


NEW YORK CITY — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals linked to a pattern of armed robberies in the Bronx. Authorities reported that the incidents, which occurred between October 8 and October 22, involve two suspects using a motorcycle to target victims and forcibly steal jewelry.

The first incident took place on October 8 around 2 p.m. in front of 1500 Grand Concourse in the 44th Precinct. Two suspects approached a 54-year-old male victim, punched him repeatedly in the head and face, and stole two necklaces and a bracelet valued at approximately $6,350. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

On October 18, a series of robberies unfolded, starting at approximately 11:17 a.m. near 1201 Randall Avenue in the 41st Precinct. The suspects confronted a 38-year-old male victim, struck him with a firearm, and stole a necklace and rings worth around $6,600. The suspects fled on their motorcycle, leaving the victim with minor injuries. Roughly 13 minutes later, another robbery was reported in front of 1050 River Avenue in the 44th Precinct, where the suspects displayed a firearm and stole a $3,300 necklace from a 31-year-old male before fleeing eastbound. At around 11:45 a.m. the same day, a third incident occurred in front of 2024 Williamsbridge Road in the 49th Precinct. The suspects, again armed, struck a 48-year-old male victim and stole a $3,000 necklace before escaping. All three victims sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment.

On October 22, two additional robberies took place in the 44th Precinct. At approximately 11 a.m., suspects approached a 17-year-old male in front of 76 East 167th Street. During an altercation, one of the suspects discharged a firearm while stealing two necklaces valued at around $2,500. The suspects fled the scene on their motorcycle, and no injuries were reported. The final reported incident occurred at around 12:20 p.m. near 1055 Summit Avenue, where the suspects robbed a 36-year-old male of a necklace and bracelet worth roughly $4,000 before fleeing.
