LAUREL, Md. — While a Georgia player claimed the massive $478.2 million Powerball jackpot in the October 23 drawing, Maryland players had their own reasons to celebrate. A $50,000 third-tier winning ticket was sold at Laurel Park Liquor and Deli, located at 13600 Baltimore Avenue in Prince George’s County.
In addition to the $50,000 winner, 13,949 other Maryland Powerball players won prizes ranging from $4 to $100. Another 1,554 players who added Power Play to their tickets won prizes up to $200.
The winning numbers from the drawing were 2, 15, 27, 29, and 39, with the Powerball 20 and a Power Play multiplier of x2. Maryland players have claimed 51 third-tier $50,000 prizes in 2024, with 14 of those wins coming since the jackpot roll began on August 21.
Players are reminded to sign the backs of their tickets and store them in a safe place. Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
