BALTIMORE, MD — A 28-year-old woman was fatally shot early Monday morning in Baltimore’s Southeast District, prompting an investigation by homicide detectives, police said.
Officers responded to a residence in the 3700 block of Toone Street around 3:44 a.m. on October 28, following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics arrived on the scene but were unable to save her, and she was pronounced dead at the location. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name.
