D.C. robbery suspect caught on camera


WASHINGTON, D.C. — A suspect wanted in connection with a Sunday night robbery in Northeast Washington is being sought by police, who are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual captured on surveillance footage.

The incident took place on October 28, around 8:25 p.m., in the 300 block of Morse Street, NE. Responding officers spoke with the victim, who reported that the suspect stole his property before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, and police have released photos in an effort to gather leads from the public. Officials are hoping someone will recognize the individual shown in the footage.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
