Baltimore police arrest 19-year-old in August shooting of teenage girl


BALTIMORE, Md. — A Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with the August shooting of a 17-year-old girl in the city’s Northwest District, the Baltimore Police Department announced.

Rashaad Wilson, 19, was taken into custody on October 28 and charged with attempted first-degree murder. Police say Wilson is suspected of shooting the teenage victim on August 16 in the 3800 block of Chatham Road. The circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been disclosed.

The victim’s condition following the shooting has not been released, and authorities have not provided additional details on the investigation.


Wilson is currently being held without bail at the Central Booking Intake Facility in Baltimore. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
