WASHINGTON — Police have arrested an 18-year-old woman in connection with a violent robbery that took place on Georgia Avenue in Northwest D.C. earlier this week.
The incident occurred on Sunday, November 3, at approximately 2:17 p.m. in the 2300 block of Georgia Avenue. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect approached the victim, assaulted them, and stole their belongings before fleeing the scene.
Following an investigation, police arrested Denise Brown, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, on Monday, November 4. Brown has been charged with Robbery (Force and Violence) in connection with the attack.
