Overnight shootings leave three injured across Philadelphia districts


PHILADELPHIA — Three men were injured in separate shootings across Philadelphia late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, with incidents reported in the 25th, 35th, and 22nd Police Districts. No arrests have been made in connection with any of the shootings.

In the 25th District, a 43-year-old man arrived at Temple University Hospital around 12:04 a.m. with gunshot wounds to his right ear and left hand. Police say he was brought to the hospital by a private vehicle. He is in stable condition, but no scene was located, no weapon was recovered, and no arrests have been made.

In the 35th District, a 33-year-old man was shot once in the hip at approximately 10:56 p.m. on the 400 block of W Tabor Road. He was transported by Medic 23B to Einstein Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition. Authorities were unable to locate a crime scene or recover a weapon, and no suspects have been apprehended.


In the 22nd District, a shooting occurred around 9:45 p.m. on the 2000 block of N Judson Street. A 64-year-old man was shot three times and was transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where he is in stable condition. Police have secured the scene and recovered a firearm in connection with this incident, though no arrests have been made.

All three cases remain under investigation as police work to gather more information and identify potential suspects.
