Jersey City, N – Three individuals were arrested on Wednesday after a prolonged narcotics investigation conducted by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force in Jersey City and Newark. The arrests were made following the execution of a court-authorized search warrant at residences on Kensington Avenue in Jersey City and Hunterdon Street in Newark, leading to the seizure of more than 100 grams of suspected cocaine, over 30 grams of suspected heroin, and other suspected prescription drugs.
Errol Allen, a 52-year-old resident of Jersey City, faces charges including the operation of a Controlled Dangerous Substance Production Facility, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin, and possession with intent to distribute prescription legend drugs like Viagra. He was arrested on Kensington Avenue and was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility while awaiting his initial court appearance.
Alex Darby, aged 52, from Newark, is charged with similar offenses, including maintaining a drug production facility, possession with intent to distribute cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, and hindering apprehension. Darby was apprehended on Hunterdon Street and is currently at Essex County Correctional Facility pending his court date.
A third individual was also arrested.
