Three Charged for Murder of 13-Year-Old Boy in Columbus


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police has arrested three suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of 13-year-old Angel Diaz, who was killed on April 4 on the city’s northeast side. Diaz was found with a gunshot wound in the 1300 block of E. Hudson Street and was pronounced dead by emergency responders shortly after 10:24 p.m.

According to police, three men have been charged with murder in connection with Diaz’s death. The first arrest was made on June 27, when 30-year-old Jaivon Jones was taken into custody. Several months later, on October 24, police arrested 21-year-old Dock Parker. Most recently, on November 4, 22-year-old Mekhi Webster was also charged with murder.
