Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department said Friday that a 16-year-old man has been taken into custody in relation to an armed robbery that took place at Dunbar High School in Northwest on Monday.
The victim was robbed of their coat at gunpoint during the November 18 incident in the 100 block of N Street, Northwest. Officers were called to the same location on Thursday, November 21, after receiving allegations of a second sighting of the suspect. Officers found the teenager and arrested him when they arrived.
The 16-year-old, who lives in Northwest Washington, D.C., is accused of armed robbery. A second suspect in the crime who was seen on security footage is still being sought by MPD.
