Woman seriously injured in Chesapeake parking lot shooting




Chesapeak, Virginia. The Chesapeake Police Department reports that a woman was seriously hurt in a parking lot shooting at a company on Indian River Road on Friday afternoon.

After hearing allegations of a shooting, officers were sent to the 4300 block of Indian River Road at approximately 4:40 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered a female adult with a gunshot wound.

The victim’s health has not been updated since she was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her injuries were deemed critical by the authorities.
