ABSECON, New Jersey.Two suspects are being sought by police in Absecon for allegedly robbing and assaulting a man on Sunday night in the Route 30 hotel area.
The victim thought he was seeing an acquaintance when he arrived at a motel parking lot close to Turner Avenue and the Home Depot just before 9:00 p.m. on December 29. The Absecon Police Department reports that two guys accosted him upon arrival, pepper-sprayed him, physically abused him, and took his money.
According to the police, the suspects are white men in their 20s to 30s. The victim’s state after the attack has not been made public.
Shortly after the robbery, police arrived on the site, but they were unable to identify the suspects. Police are looking into the incident and have asked anyone who knows anything about the heist or the identities of the perpetrators to get in touch with the department.
