George S. Prince County, MarylandAccokeek police have identified 40-year-old Loretta Canter-Andrews as the victim of a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Indian Head Highway on Friday night.

Officers discovered Canter-Andrews in the road with fatal injuries after the collision, which happened close to Farmington Road at approximately 9:50 p.m. Investigators said the motorist had already left the scene and she was declared dead at the scene.
