Alabama Braces for Weekend Showers and High Winds in Tennessee Valley

Huntsville, AlabamaThis weekend, the Tennessee Valley is predicted to have rain showers and strong gusts, which might cause travel delays and lower temperatures. With wind gusts of up to 25 mph, the National Weather Service predicts a 90% chance of rain on Saturday night.

The most recent prediction is that Friday will be largely cloudy with a high of 62 F before Saturday will see some clearing. But by Saturday evening, temperatures will dip to the high 40s and showers will start to form. The rainy trend is expected to last till the beginning of next week. There is a 40% chance of showers in the morning on Monday, followed by consistent rain on Monday evening and Tuesday, with an 80% likelihood of precipitation. The mid-50s to low-60s will continue to be the highs.
