Allegheny County Police investigating Wilkinsburg shooting that injured two

Allegheny County Police are looking into a shooting that happened late Friday night in the 800 block of Wallace Avenue, which left two people hurt, according to officials in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania.

The call was received by County 9-1-1 on June 20 at around 10:09 p.m. One expended bullet casing was found at the location by responding cops. At the time, no suspects were found.

Two victims showed up at nearby hospitals separately shortly after the first report. According to authorities, one victim was treated for abrasions he had incurred while escaping the scene, and the other was shot in the back while sitting in a car.

The matter is being handled by detectives from the General Investigations Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department. Authorities have not revealed any details on a motive or potential suspects.
