Allentown man charged with domestic assault after stabbing incident on Whitehall Street

Pa.’s Allentown.According to police, a 37-year-old Allentown man was taken into custody on Wednesday night after a stabbing and domestic abuse incident in the 1900 block of W. Whitehall Street.

At around 5:55 p.m., authorities discovered Marcus Raymond White with a minor stab wound to his arm. The victim, his fiancée, responded in self-defense during an assault, investigators eventually concluded, resulting in the injury.

According to police, the woman had obvious wounds from an assault at the scene.

A suspect in a case involving domestic abuse is charged.

After being arrested, White was charged with two domestic-related offenses: simple assault (misdemeanor, second degree) and harassment (summary offense).

The incident is still under investigation.
