Annandale man faces serious charges in child pornography case uncovered by CyberTip




Fairfax County, Virginia After the Fairfax County Police Department conducted an investigation, a 31-year-old male from Annandale was taken into custody and charged with 15 counts of possessing child pornography.

Following a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to the department’s Major Crimes Bureau Child Exploitation Unit, the investigation got underway on November 28. According to the report, someone was posting Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) online.

Investigators found evidence that the suspect, Danh Nguyen, had distributed CSAM. Additional child pornography was found on Nguyen’s electronic devices after more research.

Nguyen was arrested and is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
