Edgewater, Maryland.On January 6, 2025, a major assault on a minor took place in the vicinity of Sweet Leaf Lane and Triton Court in Edgewater, and police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
According to authorities, the incident happened between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. According to the description, the suspect is a male wearing a black hooded jacket who is between the ages of 14 and 17. According to reports, he was joined by an unidentified Caucasian woman with a blond ponytail who was likewise thought to be between 14 and 17 years old. The two suspects were last observed running behind Sweet Leaf Lane toward a wooded area.
Investigators are urging parents to talk to their school-age children about the assault since they think other adolescents might have been around. Residents are also being asked to look through any security footage taken between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on January 6 in order to find any people who fit the descriptions.
