National Librarian Day falls on April 16th and Colorful Clearwater wants to honor those special people who are such an important part of our city – our librarians!
Clearwater has five libraries: Main Library, East Community Library, Countryside Library, North Greenwood Library and the Beach Library.

The Clearwater Library system is on YouTube and one highly entertaining group of videos offered is Librarians TRY.
This series highlights our local librarians trying to juggle, guess country flags, decipher British words, thread a sewing machine, read “Fox in Sox” fast, decipher U.S. states by their shape or nicknames, eat bugs (yes, bugs!) and so much more. Some things they know how to do, but some things they are trying for the first time.
It may surprise you to know that librarians are constantly learning and gathering information in order to better serve our community.

Visit your local library on Friday, April 16th, and wish your librarians a Happy Librarians Day to show how much they are appreciated.
