Arizona Weather Update: Warm, Sunny Days Ahead for Phoenix as Highs Reach 87°F This Week

Arizona’s PhoenixArizona will continue to have warm, sunny weather this week, with highs of 87 degrees Fahrenheit expected in Phoenix by Thursday. Although a minor decrease is anticipated over the weekend, the city is predicted to be dry.

The National Weather Service predicts a high of 84 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday along with light east winds that will change northeast and reach gusts of up to 20 miles per hour. It will be largely clear on Thursday night, with lows of about 56 degrees Fahrenheit.

With a high of 84 F on Friday, it will continue to be warm, but as cooler air moves in on Saturday, the temperature will drop to 76 F. With largely sunny skies, overnight lows will fall into the low 50s.

It will be a little warmer on Sunday, with a high of 78 degrees Fahrenheit with calm winds. On Monday, there will be a more apparent cooldown, with highs only rising to 73 F. As the temperature drops into the upper 40s at night, the weather will become more seasonable.

Road conditions on key routes, such as I-10 and Loop 101, should be great for drivers. Plans for the outdoors are still good, but anyone who are sensitive to weather changes should brace for chilly mornings.

Arizonans may look forward to a dry and sunny stretch throughout March since there is no chance of rain.
