Little Rock, ArkansasSouthern Arkansas residents should exercise caution this morning due to the dangerous traffic conditions caused by the persistent, thick fog. There is a greater chance of icy spots on highways in places where temperatures are at or below freezing.
Later this morning, visibility will progressively improve, according to Little Rock’s National Weather Service. Through Sunday, there won’t be any more dangerous weather, but drivers should still be on the lookout.
Little Rock and the surrounding areas’ five-day forecast:
Tuesday: sunny with a maximum temperature of 71°F. Morning breezes are light, and by the afternoon, they had subsided.
Tuesday night: 46 degrees Fahrenheit, mostly clear. The winds are still light.
Wednesday: 71 degrees Fahrenheit, mostly sunny. Southwest-shifting winds of 5–10 mph with 15 mph gusts.
There is a 20% probability of rain on Wednesday night. somewhat overcast, with a low of about 43°F. Overnight, the winds will move to the northwest.
Friday: sunny with a high of 63 degrees Fahrenheit. 5–10 mph north-northwest winds with 15 mph gusts.
It is predicted to warm up by Friday, with sunny skies and highs of 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Although residents may look forward to a period of dry, moderate weather throughout the week, they need exercise additional caution this morning.
