Armed carjacking in Southeast D.C. as suspects steal Audi Q7


WASHINGTON, D.C. — A carjacking in a Southeast D.C. parking garage has left a community on alert as police search for suspects who fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The incident occurred around 6:23 p.m. on October 30, when the suspects approached the victim in the 400 block of 14th Street, Southeast, and one suspect brandished a handgun, demanding the car keys.

The victim complied, and the suspects escaped in the stolen car, a white 2019 Audi Q7 with Virginia license plate #2687EB. A second vehicle followed the suspects as they left the scene.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured images of both the suspects and the vehicle, which police have since released to the public.


Authorities are seeking the community’s help in identifying the suspects and the white Audi. Tips can be submitted by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.

This carjacking is part of a recent rise in similar incidents, heightening concerns about public safety in Southeast D.C.
