Armed robbery at Seminole Trail 7-Eleven under investigation; police seek public’s help




ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA — In an effort to identify the culprit in the armed robbery that took place at a 7-Eleven on the 1200 block of Seminole Trail on Sunday, police have released CCTV footage.

The robbery happened on November 24, according to the Albemarle County Police Department. The suspect, according to investigators, was a Black man in his 20s who was dressed in black leggings, a black hoodie, and a black face mask.

A still image from security footage taken during the event has been made public by the department’s Criminal Investigations Division, which is in charge of the probe. Anyone with information regarding the suspect is urged by the police to call Detective Richardson at 434-296-5807.

According to police, anonymous tips can also be sent by calling Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000. The department stressed how crucial community support is in discovering the culprit.

As investigators try to learn more about the heist, the investigation is still ongoing.
