Armed robbery reported at 7-Eleven in Albemarle County




ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA — The Albemarle County Police Department reports that they are looking into an armed robbery that occurred at a 7-Eleven on Seminole Trail in the early hours of the morning.

An unnamed male, thought to be in his 20s, entered the store with a pistol at approximately 4:46 a.m. on Sunday and demanded money. According to the police, the suspect was dressed in a black face mask, black leggings, and a black hoodie when the heist occurred.

Investigators have yet to ascertain the suspect’s direction of travel after they left the site with an undisclosed sum of money. Although they have not yet made any surveillance photos public, police have stated that they will publish them as soon as they are available.

The agency has requested that anyone with information get in touch with either Crime Stoppers, which accepts anonymous reports, or the Albemarle County Police agency.
